The noodle shop in Sam Mun Tsai, Tai Po, is wonton heaven

Known simply as "noodle shop" by locals, this four-decade-old, home-run eatery at the heart of Tai Po fishing village Sam Mun Tsai oozes rustic charm. With both indoor and outdoor seating, the shop specialises in shrimp wonton and dumpling noodle soup. The wontons are silky in texture and filled with juicy shrimp. Try them with egg noodles served in hot and flavourful broth. To get there, walk straight through the village until you reach the public toilets and find the outdoor kitchen on the right.
