Restaurant review: Braza Churrascaria Brazilian Steakhouse in Central

Brazilian

HK$388 without drinks or the service charge

friendly. The staff were eager to tell us about the meats they were serving, and — if we had let them — would have fed us far too much.

Beef stew

we loved the tender flank steak, the shrimp, pork ribs and lamb, but my favourite barbecue was the chunky chorizo, which had crisp skin and plenty of fat to make it moist. The cinnamon-dusted grilled pineapple was a nice alternative to the fresh sliced fruits on the buffet. Other meats on offer included top sirloin, chicken wings and bacon-wrapped turkey.

for a set price of HK$388, you get as much as you want of the buffet, which includes feijoada, sliced salmon and charcuterie, salad greens and rice, plus grilled meats and seafood that are brought on skewers to the tables and carved to order.

Chorizo skewer

we were offered only one type of seafood on the night of our visit — a shrimp that I liked so much I regret not taking another as it was the only time it came around.

This is the kind of place to bring large eaters. It's hard, but try not to eat too much off the buffet or the dishes that are served at the table, which include hot melted cheese, fried bananas, and (our favourite) the pork belly with mushrooms and corn.
