You may remember hearing a few years ago about a lifestyle brand called Oroton, which opened a pop-up boutique at IFC mall for several months. This popular Aussie brand has finally returned to the city with a more permanent home in the form of a standalone boutique in Causeway Bay.
So what's the scoop? Oroton is as synonymous with Australia as Coach is with America. Over the years it has become the go-to brand for stylish women looking for glamorous yet casual accessories that won't break the bank. Today it has a global following with fans including photographer Tommy Ton, fashion guru Taylor Tomasi Hill and actress Vanessa Hudgens.

You can find them in the new boutique on Hysan Avenue. Spanning 1,076 sq ft, it features a specially designed facade covered in silver tiles stamped with the letter O. The interior is more glamorous, thanks to its gold tones and detailing.
Naturally, handbags take pride of place. The women's collection (prices start from HK$1,750), which was inspired by '70s Australian architecture and textures, includes the retro-inspired, structured Luminous bag made from calf leather and the Centrepiece zip clutch in leopard print. The brand has also created an exclusive limited edition style called the Hong Kong Opera clutch (HK$8,880) which is perfect for the party season with its Swarovski crystals in gold, cognac and chocolate ombré. The men's collection, meanwhile, features wallets and belts, as well as briefcases and overnight bags.
