Price: about HK$400 without drinks or the service charge.
Ambience: the restaurant is tiny. Although we'd booked well in advance, the only seats they could offer us were at the communal table that's open to the street. We didn't mind, because the inside dining area seemed too crowded, and when they offered to move us, we declined.

Recommended dishes: our favourite dish was the steamed razor clams with eringi mushrooms, edamame and Hitachino white ale foam (HK$128). The clams were tender and briny, and the sauce was light and delicate. House-made tofu with uni and dashi jelly (HK$158) was very pretty, with the soft bean curd almost completely covered by three large, creamy tongues of sea urchin.
The spicy wagyu tartare (HK$158) could have used more salt, but the meat had a good texture After we mixed the ingredients, we scooped it onto the rice crackers, which added crunch.
Pros: the staff were friendly and nice without being intrusive or annoying.

Cons: sweet corn tempura with mozzarella cheese (HK$78) was so heavy and oily that I stopped after one bite, while my guest removed both the batter and the cheese and ate only the corn. The mud crab okonomiyaki (HK$118) was also heavy. It didn't have enough cabbage, we couldn't taste the crab, and it tasted like stodgy polenta cake. Chicken karaage (HK$98) had good flavour, but it was overcooked
What else? There are two seatings, one starting at 6pm and the other at 8.30pm.
