
The LANDMARK MANDARIN in Central will have a pop-up on September 22 to 24 featuring Gaggan Anand of Gaggan Restaurant in Bangkok, which hit number 17 on this year's World's 50 Best Restaurants list and number three on Asia's 50 Best list. Julien Royer from Jaan restaurant at Swissôtel The Stamford in Singapore will be guest chef at THE PRINCIPAL in Wan Chai on September 10 and 11. Jaan is number 22 on Asia's 50 Best list and 100 on the World's Best Restaurants list. The eight course dinner is HK$1,400 plus 10 per cent (add HK$700 for the wine pairing) and includes miso trout with Kagoshima pork belly, kabu and parsley; and hay-roasted Bresse pigeon with corn, bread and liquorice. Chef Wang Zheng Jing of Da Rong He restaurant in Chengdu will be cooking at MAN WAH at the Mandarin Oriental from September 19 to 27.
