Lobster Bar and Grill, Admiralty - for afternoon tea

This one we are reluctant to give away. Booking afternoon tea at any decent hotel over the weekend these days is approaching the impossible, but did you know the Lobster Bar and Grill at the Island Shangri-La serves afternoon tea — and at a reasonable price, too?

And because this venue isn't on anyone's radar the same way as, say, Tiffin at the Grand Hyatt, it's easy to get a table. The set costs HK$268 for one person and HK$458 for two. For an extra HK$400 you get a bottle of Taittinger Brut Prestige Rosé, NV. The set includes the usual mix of savouries and sweets, but is heavy on the latter.
