Chic and cheerful, Issey Miyake's Pleats Please is a fruity, vibrant scent celebrating the brand's dance-inspired fashion line. The new fragrance balances an intense floral bouquet with smooth woody notes while patchouli, cedar and vanilla add freshness and comfort.

Lancôme's La Vie est Belle mixes richness, freshness and playfulness with 63 ingredients, including rare Iris pallida from Florence, Indonesian patchouli and orange blossom. Its 1949 "crystal smile" bottle has been updated.

For the more daring, Coco Noir by Chanel is a luxurious, heavy scent featuring sandalwood, vetiver, frankincense, patchouli and vanilla. A hint of spiciness comes from pink peppercorns and fresh grapefruit, while jasmine, rose and narcissus lend the scent a romantic flourish.

For autumn's glamour girl, Gucci Première takes its inspiration from the brand's couture gowns that debuted at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival. Top notes of orange blossom and bergamot recall the effervescence of Champagne, while a base of creamy balsamic woods and smoky leather adds to the appeal.
