TURN-ONS The excellent, non-intrusive service. A choice of five Champagnes was offered before our culinary journey began. We went for rose before nibbling through the must-try flower pot of organic leaves, vegetables and soil which is watered with Earl Grey tea. We then tried the delicious Spanish suckling pig bacon and eggs, organic duck egg and herbs, which was prepared tableside. This were enough for two and was one of our favourite dishes. For mains, we recommend the Welsh duck, gnocchi and orange endives. The duck melted in the mouth as did the United States brandt beef short rib served with artichoke. The mains were paired with a velvety Rhone Valley, 2007 Reflet Saint-Joseph Francois Villiard. For dessert, the summer berries were served with cream, chocolate sauce and almonds, and the cherries served with sponge, vanilla and kirsch.
TURN-OFFS It is pricey but worth it.
DRINKS Ask for the wine pairing with biodynamic wine choices. We enjoyed the Disznoko dessert wine.
