Kicking off with sake

Famed former Japanese international footballer Hidetoshi Nakata's new restaurant, KOKO, in Central, is offering fun evenings of sake tasting every two months. The first session took place earlier this month when seven special sakes were paired with six of KOKO's signature canapés, including beetroot pickles, fried okra and kisu tempura. Sake enthusiasts visited different tasting stations, where an expert was on hand to explain each pairing. Premium sakes sourced from elite breweries included Kuheiji, ZAKU, Shizukudori and Sake "N," which retails for HK$10,000 per bottle. Don't miss out on the next session. Tickets are HK$498 per head.
