WHO TO BRING Friends and family.

TURN-ONS The summer superfood menu is packed with deliciously healthy ingredients. We started with the roasted cauliflower hummus with fresh ginger and sesame served with pita bread. Although each flavour is strong, the ginger and sesame balanced well with cauliflower. The organic and roasted Brussels sprout salad with poached egg, lemon and anchovy was deliciously crunchy. We broke the egg yolk over the salad and mixed it in with the sprouts. The roasted baby carrots with avocado, cumin, garlic with crunchy sunflower seeds and calamansi honey was another tasty dish with the right amount of sweetness and crunch. We then tried the sesame kale salad tossed in virgin olive oil with crispy pancetta strips - although vegetarians can ask for one without pancetta - grilled shallots and sesame. Each dish is enough for two. We were spoilt for choice with the dessert options, so we tried the dessert platter with four small portions of my favourite butter scotch pudding with ginger glace, honeycomb served with vanilla and maple syrup ice cream, Granny Bunt's mango roll, brandy snap with white chocolate mousse and a brownie. The menu is also available at Tivo Wyndham Street.

TURN-OFFS Although a great neighbourhood restaurant, visitors need to use Google Maps to find it.

DRINKS A menu of healthy smoothies include the fresh berry yogi with blackberry, blueberry and raspberry purée layered with yoghurt and topped with fresh raspberry coulis, and the zesty star with lemon zest and fresh star-fruit blended with green grapes, pineapple and a splash of pear juice.
