TURN-ONS The restaurant has one of the best dinner buffets in town. The hotel gives themes to their buffet spreads, so as a result of the Olympics this summer, Café Lagoon offers a Brazilian-barbecue-themed spread until September 18, with seafood, steaks and other South American delights. There is a generous selection of seafood. The food trays are refilled constantly. One stall has a selection of Indian curries and bread. The outdoor location is a big plus especially during summer evenings and combined with the variety of food available, creates a perfect atmosphere for a family outing.

TURN-OFFS Its popularity can be a bit of a turn-off as it is crowded on weekends, especially from 6.30pm to 8pm.

DRINKS Colas and beer are available with the buffet. Red or white wines are charged separately.
