Truffle season: special menus with dishes featuring shaved fungus have arrived at number of outlets in Hong Kong
This delicacy is now being served in a variety of fresh creations at a number of restaurants, such as Pottinger’s Gradini and Skye at the Park Lane
Truffle season is in full swing with restaurants rolling out their special menus. The Pottinger’s Gradini highlights dishes such as filo pastry tart, milk and pancetta sauce, shaved Alba truffles and white truffle ice cream. Whereas French fine dining Skye at the Park Lane offers a menu with ravioli of Boston lobster, parsley veloute with white Alba truffle, roasted fillet and carmalised white chocolate parfait millefeuille with white Alba and crystallized hazelnuts. Cucina at the Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel in Harbour City offers seared Hokkaido scallops with organic Italian scrambled eggs on toast with white truffle and risotto with parmigiano cheese, beef jus with white truffle.
