TURN-ONS
Stone Nullah Tavern is a popular happy hour haunt in Wan Chai. The restaurant is tucked away inside the premises and offers a quieter retreat from the noisy bar area. The menu boasts a good selection of American comfort food with a contemporary twist. To start off the evening, we were offered some bread with butter heating over a candle for easier spreading and dipping. We tried the fried calamari, which was tasty and came in a generous portion. Guests often rave about Stone Nullah’s wood-grilled pizzas. The barbecue chicken pizza with a hint of spiciness is a favourite. We loved the butter-basted organic filet mignon with classic home-made fries on the side. We also enjoyed the maple glazed ribs with gorgonzola slaw and dill pickle. The tender meat just glided off the bones and if you have a big appetite or would like to share with others, you can order the full portion.
