Shanghai-style Madame Fu impresses with Iberico version of char siu
- A Chinese restaurant in Central that combines piazza-like outdoor seating, elegant salon interiors and delicious dining
Fare Contemporary Cantonese
Ambience Located at Tai Kwun in Central, in one of the main buildings facing the square, Madame Fu occupies the entire third floor. The interior is eclectic with a vibrant colour scheme, velvet chairs and sofas, and huge plants strategically placed throughout the space. For lunch and afternoon tea, we recommend sitting in the chic dining area where your taste buds and visual senses are stimulated. In the evening, for a more intimate feel, head to the balcony, which has the boisterous atmosphere of a European piazza.
Cost Around HK1,300 for two for an appetiser, mains, dessert, wine and tea. Dim sum is only available during lunch and costs between H$60 and HK$105 per dish.
Who to bring Friends and out-of-town business guests who will appreciate the 1930s Shanghai feel.
