Ciak - In The Kitchen
At this cool outfit, you'll find everything from pizza and pasta to the finest meat seared to perfection on a charcoal grill. Aside from a heaving handful of Italian specialties, Ciak also prepares a decadent Sunday brunch buffet ($398), which comes with free-flow beer or wine for an additional $138.

Gianni's Trattoria Italiana
One of the most authentic Italian eateries in the city, Gianni's Trattoria Italiana is run by—you guessed it, Gianni—who has worked in excellent Italian restaurants across both Europe and Asia. Bringing his expertise to Hong Kong, Gianni has created an extensive traditional menu using only the best ingredients imported from Puglia in Italy.

Panevino
Originally opened in Mid-Levels by Chef Gianni (the same Gianni who opened Gianni’s Trattoria Italiana, above).This little taste of Italy comes complete with an outdoor terrace where you can enjoy the home-style cuisine and quaint atmosphere.

Giando Italian Restaurant and Bar
Most ingredients used at Giando Italian Restaurant and Bar have been imported directly from Italy, guaranteeing a fresh and authentic meal. The restaurant provides a magnificent view of the Hong Kong skyline, and offers a three-course brunch on weekends ($338). Though Italians are stereotypically known for their pasta, Giando dedicates a large section of the menu to main courses of chicken, fish and meat.

Isola
This longtime favorite has both indoor tables and terrace seating that's equipped with a great view of the harbor. Isola serves homemade pastas, thin-crust pizzas, and has lots of options from the grill. Also a great choice for an after-work drink, the bar’s resident DJ spins laid back tunes nightly from Thursday through Saturday.

8 ½ Otto e Mezzo

From Italy to Hong Kong, Otto e Mezzo has earned a reputation for incredible Italian fare, excelling in everything from duck to shellfish ragout to tiramisu. It is owned by former Executive Chef of the now closed legendary Toscana at The Ritz Carlton and Hong Kong’s “Best Italian chef in Asia”, Umberto Bombana. The Restaurant is the first and only Three Michelin Stars Italian restaurant outside Italy.

Grissini
Grissini is the Italian word for "breadsticks". With a great view overlooking Tsim Sha Tsui, Grissini was among the first fine-dine Italian restaurants to open in Hong Kong. It features a large baking oven at the entrance of the restaurant, where fresh breadsticks are made and fills the entire room with a delicious aroma. The resto serves a classy lunch and dinner, as well as offers catering services.

Osteria
Despite its location inside of Holiday Inn, Osteria is a common dining spot for Italian expats thanks to its genuinely great Italian food. The pastas are all made according to authentic recipes, and you can expect a no-frills mama-knows-best menu featuring lots of classic dishes like pizza, beef carpaccio and pappardelle with homemade bolognese.

Sabatini 
Originally opened in Rome in 1954 before expanding to Hong Kong, Sabatini has over 50 years of culinary experience under its belt. , The Sabatini brothers provide more than just Italian food in this little hideaway: the ambience is both warm and welcoming and, most importantly, there's an extensive wine list.
