Some people have been getting all negative on Hong Kong recently. But those guys are just haters and they’re forgetting about all the pretty awesome stuff we have. Let’s recap. First of all there is an awesome district you might have heard of. It’s called Lan Kwai Fong, and it’s really sweet—it’s got all these Free-Flow Shooters Tuesdays, and there’s a ton of chicks there like every night. But that’s not the most awesomest thing.
There’s plenty of stuff even more awesome than that. Like, Hong Kong is really awesome because it’s committed to heritage preservation, in case you didn’t know. Mixing the old and new is really the shit-hottest thing right now. For one thing, they saved the clock tower from this old crappy pier they tore down last year, which is pretty rad. But for real sweetness, you gotta check out “Heritage 1881”—it’s this old place in TST which is totally epic right now. It used to be really old, 1881 old. In the olden days, it was this dumpy old colonial Marine Police building, surrounded by this little group of old trees and crap, right on the waterfront basically. But then the Hong Kong government straight up flipped that shit to some huge property developer conglomerate, making a ton of G’s.
And now instead of that little oldie building, we have this totally awesome new thing called “Heritage 1881,” which is this HUGE shopping mall with totally awesome shops like Omega and I.W.C. Schaffhausen. You’re totally fly when you wear a watch from these guys, it’s just straight pimp. And in front of the awesome shopping mall that is home to all these completely off-the-hook shops, there’s this one little tree that they kept from the original site and it’s on a platform like way up 20 feet in the air. How awesome is that?!
Answer: pretty awesome. But that’s not the most awesomest thing.
The single best, most awesome thing has got to be by far this tiny little thing called... duh, The Property Market!! Ever hear of it?! You straight up get into this thing, just dump your cash right in it and then you wait just like a little bit, not even that long, and then you’ve totally made MAD MONEY. Basically, you don’t even need to be a genius to do this. There are all these people in Hong Kong who are like construction workers and crap and they save up a bunch of money and then they buy an apartment somewhere, even somewhere weird like the New Territories, and then they’re golden. They spend their whole lives getting this together basically.
Plus, what’s even more awesome about The Property Market, is that even when the world goes to crap, like it did last year obviously, The Property Market is apparently totally immune!! Don’t believe us? Read all the newspapers, and they’ll tell you how Epic it truly is. Remember those guys are professionals, and they get paid to write that stuff, so it’s gotta be right.
