Photographer Jasmine Christine Diep
Jasmine Christine Diep, 4, holds the world record as the youngest professional photographer after she exhibited and sold her works in an exhibition at the InnoCentre this January. She talks about why she wants a stethoscope.

HK Magazine: How old are you?
Jasmine Christine Diep: Four and a half years old. I am not small. I am not a child. When I am five years old, papa will give me a video camera.
HK: What did you do at school today?
JCD: I played. I finished all my homework today at school because mama is not feeling well. [Jasmine’s mother was in the hospital the day before the interview.] That’s why I cried. Any time somebody goes to the hospital, I will cry. I cried when BB [Jasmine’s dog] went to the hospital. Mama, when will Auntie give me the stethoscope?
HK: Why do you need a stethoscope?
JCD: Because I want to be a vet. I will need to put so many things in a box with a cross. The cross is red. My favorite color is red.
HK: What are the things you love to take pictures of?
JCD: Everything. Dogs, my cats Siu Bo and Piggy Bun, and the Cookie Monster. I want to take pictures of Cookie Monster. Cookie Monster is funny. Cookie Monster draws a cookie on the paper. He eats the cookie and he eats the paper!
HK: Can you comment on your photos? Which ones do you think are good?
JCD: I like every picture that I take.
HK: OK, what are some things you consider pretty?
JCD: Many. Everything is pretty.
