Barco
Escape from the din of SoHo by stepping into Barco, a cozy spot where you won’t have to yell to be heard. Past the cozy bar is a relaxed, wood paneled corner with comfy retro couches and cushions that resemble a comfortable den. Fancy a board game or two? Kick back with a Hoegaarden or lychee daiquiri and kick your friend’s ass at backgammon. For a quiet moment, step out into the little alfresco area at the back with a chilled house white and a game of Scrabble. Happy Hours are 4pm-8pm every day at this laidback lounge.

The Annexx
Escape from the crowded insanity of Lan Kwai Fong by taking a trip to The Annexx. This restaurant and wine bar has a lovely balcony where you can sit and sip vino with the crowd below, which is barely audible through the ingenious green “wall“. After taking in the foliage try not to gorge yourself on the delightful bar snacks, but if hunger is a problem you are in luck. Tuck into one of the many tasty platters on offer or completely give in to temptation and stay for a meal.
