Former talk show host Albert Cheng Jin-han
Albert Cheng Jing-han is a former talk show host famous for his aggressive criticism of the government. Now looking to start up a new AM radio station, he talks about why radio has a promising future, why Jesus is so popular, and why he scolds people during his shows.

I’m not planning to launch this radio station just to get myself on air again. That’s like opening a restaurant if I just want to eat! But still, I might host a show.
Radio is not dying. It is the one media that has been hurt the least by the internet.
I want to stir up the market and create more competition. Radio here is so outdated. What’s changed in the past 20 years?
The purposes of doing a talk show are to protect the rights of vulnerable social groups and retain social justice. I also like to provide alternative points of view.
The problem with talk shows now is that they don’t carry out follow-up action. Maybe they don’t have enough commitment.
I don’t regard myself as just a talk show host. I see myself as a social activist. I participate a lot and I always manage to raise people’s awareness on issues such as harbor protection.
