It’s a small space, and in the small hours of the morning, with all those sweaty, touchy-feely dancers bumping against each other, you’re almost sure to get some action. And by the way, the toilet cubicle doors are floor-to-ceiling and practically soundproof. Fact. If you prefer to talk to your conquests before dragging them home, the crowd spills out into the beer garden and much-underused ampitheater, where canoodlings abound.

If you’re single, V-day is the perfect night to hit up Tribeca’s ladies night (it’s a Thursday this year, dontcha know.) It’s your lucky night, girls, because you can get in and drink for free. Boys, you’ll have to pay up $160 in order to join the fray inside. But hey, at least you get a free drink. Free-flow drinks drinks means happy ladies; happy ladies means happy guys.

Lotus
This chic bar has a celebrity cocktail artist, meaning that you’ll love their V-day drinks. They even chargrill their fruit to bring out the flavors of their fresh fruit martinis (god knows what they do to make a Pussyfoot). If you’re shy and you can’t pick up here after having tried one of their wicked martinis or three (Lotus special, yum), at least you can go back across the street to Yumla and try your luck with a, how shall we say, less inhibited crowd.
