TED = A non profit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Sharing, held annually in Long Beach, California.

TEDx Hong Kong = a conglomerate of local and international speakers for a sustainable Hong Kong. The theme, "Creativity in Action" emphasizes the role of innovation in "tackling environmental, social and corporate sustainability for Hong Kong/s future prosperity". Speakers include Jane Goodall, Nury Vittachi, Edward Ng and many more. This event will be held on the 31st of August 2010 at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Chiang Chen Studio Theatre, with a kick-off at 12pm.
