Top Five: Artistic Inspiration

1. China Club (Old Bank of China Building, Central, 2521-8888). “Beyond the impressive art deco colonial style and noodle-making performance during dinner, there is also a variety of contemporary Chinese paintings.”

2. Dragon-i (UG/F, The Centrium, 60 Wyndham Street, Central, 3110-1222). “The outside deck is a great place to spend lengthy drawn-out inspirational lunches starting around noon and finishing at 3pm - when the kitchen stops serving their as-much-as-you-can-eat dim sum.”

3. Tsukiji Market (G/F, 46 Gage Street, Central, 2542 3802). “When setting up an exhibition, we usually break here, at one of the freshest sushi/sashimi places in Central. It’s a hidden spot just one minute from the gallery.”

4. R66 Revolving Restaurant (Hopewell Center, Wan Chai, 2862-6166). “The whole experience lies in the breathtaking view and a convenient place to start an evening before giving the hosted artists a bit of inspiration.”

5. Shanghai-Shanghai, (B1, Ritz-Carlton Hotel, 3 Connaught Road, 2869-0328).“With live Chinese music backing the art deco ambience, you are brought back 80 years in time. Serving up the best Peking duck in Asia, the traditional furnishings make the whole dinning experience quite memorable.”
