Top Five: Sailing Spots
Sailor Nic Robinson runs his own pleasure-vessel surveying company, and is the co-author of the “Pleasure Craft Handbook.” These are his favorite restaurants to sail to.

1. The Boathouse (88, Stanley Main St., Stanley, 2982-8103) “This restaurant overlooks the sea and I like to enjoy a relaxing glass of pinot grigio with a big bowl of New Zealand mussels - the best in town.”
2. Yau Ley Seafood Restaurant (Sha Kiu Village, High Island, Sai Kung) “You get fantastic views across the sea to Waglan Island from this seafood place. Bring your own wine and the garlic clams are a must-try dish.”
3. HK Jockey Club Kau Sai Chau Coffee Shop (Kau Sai Chau Island, take the ferry from Sai Kung, 2791-3324) “A great place for fantastic sunsets over the Sai Kung Peninsula. Tasty food and an outside patio give you a great feeling of space as you’re eating.”
4. Rainbow Seafood Restaurant (16-24, First Street, Sok Kwu Wan, Lamma Island, 2982-8103) “The best seafood in town. You can sail here or take a ferry from the Outlying Islands Ferry Pier in Central or Aberdeen. The lobster dishes are delicious and well worth the expense.”
5. Galo (Rua de Clerigos, 45, Taipa Island, Macau, 853-562-231) “If you feel like sailing further afield - or taking the ferry to Macau - you can sample great Macanese and Portuguese food and wine in this charming restaurant.”
