My dad left the family when I was seven. He came back when I was 14. My parents divorced when I was 20. By the time my father walked out, I already knew exactly what I wanted. I knew I didn’t want a family.
Having a bad childhood is not a bad thing. It makes you stronger, and you grow up faster.
When I’m depressed, I don’t indulge myself in misery. I solve the problem.
Marriage is not an issue to me. I don’t think I’d be a very good mother either.
I view the world as chaos. All this pollution, social pressure and economic competition... It’s just not enjoyable to grow up in the world. Why would you bring a new life into such unhappiness?
But most of all, I don’t have that kind of overwhelming motherhood strive to take care of someone. Why not spare the time to treat myself better?
I’m happy to stay the way I am now. I don’t want to change anything.
The new generation is way more pampered with attention and love than mine. I guess that’s the reason more young couples are getting married. Being able to give love is essential to start a family.

Hong Kong people are good at making money but not in knowledge and culture. There’s no difference between their TV dramas, movies and music.
You see rarely "yellow" people in Hollywood films. When you do, they are either prostitutes or gangsters. In terms of opportunity and diversity, black people appear way more often. This doesn’t come naturally – it’s because people fight harder for what they deserve to be.
But Chinese people are industrious and we are good at overcoming difficult times. That’s the quality we should treasure.
Life is so short. With the money Hong Kong people earn they should travel more around the world and experience what it has to offer, rather than just go on a two-day spa trip to Thailand all the time.
Ten years ago, I started looking after my health. Since 1990, I exercise two to three hours a day, six days a week.
Be happy. I would do everything to make myself happy.
