My signature style is a loose American jersey. With my size, you think I’d wear tight shirts and trousers, but I just want to be comfortable in my clothes.

My fat figure has always been a laughing stock, especially in Hong Kong. But I just let people laugh and talk. They’re just ignorant, why should I get upset?

Stephen Chow sees my fatness as a strength in his movies. In my case, self-image is more important. I don’t care what others say about me.

I have received many invitations to be the “spokesman” for various slimming centers. I’ve turned them all down.

My mantra? Play hard, work hard, only worry about today. Why should I worry about tomorrow when I never know what will happen? The most important thing is that I’m happy.

I first met Stephen when I worked in his company as a scriptwriter. I was invited to write the script for “Shaolin Soccer,” and in the end I joined the cast.
