Caffè HABITÛ has succumbed to the white truffle craze and is launching a white truffle beverage series for fall and winter. It’s showcasing two creations: the white truffle honey latte (espresso, steamed milk and white truffle-scented whipped cream with sweet, mellow honey and chopped hazelnuts); and the white truffle hot chocolate (bittersweet chocolate, steamed milk and white truffle-scented whipped cream, topped with fine cocoa). The hot beverage specialists recommend that you first take a good, deep whiff of the white truffle scented cream, then indulge by taking a spoonful of the cream. Finish by stirring the rest of the cream into your drink to allow the flavors to infuse. Ah, heaven.
