Beat the life-sized running banana to the finish line in the 6th Beat The Banana Charity Run
Hong Kong's wackiest race returns on Jan 23, 2011 for another fun-filled day of fund raising and well, general wackiness in support of the World Cancer Research Fund Hong Kong (WCRF HK).
In an attempt to raise one million dollars to help fund cutting-edge research, a three kilometer charity run will be led by last year's winner - disguised as a life-sized running banana - that all participants must chase and beat to the finish line!
A six kilometer Elite Race will also be held, with the male and female champions being flown to London to compete in the British version of the Beat The Banana run organized by WCRF UK.
Individual/team participants will get a free online fundraising page where they can set their own fundraising targets, and easily monitor its progress. Register before Dec 20 for the Discounted Early Bird entry rate.
