The Peninsula Hong Kong is launching a donation campagin, "Hope for Japan", in support of the relief for the heartwrenching earthquake and tsunami incident in our neighouring country.
For each hotel stay, The Peninsula will be making a HKD 78 donation to the Japanese Red Cross Society. A special Japanese themed Afternoon Tea Set is also available for HKD 388 per guest, and all of the proceeds will go to Japan.
Guests can also donate a minimum of HKD 50 to recieve a paper crane (or fold your own) to hang on "The Tree of 1,000 Cranes" in the hotel Lobby. The folding of 1,000 paper cranes represents a form of healing and hope during challenging times.
