Yes that's right: ONE dollar.
Each year The Langham Hong Kong holds an 1865 Tiffin Afternoon Tea event )in celebration of the first-ever served Afternoon Tea set at The Langham London which took place June 10, 1865) complete with a different theme each year, entertainment and a three-tiered afternoon tea set all for the hefty price of one dollar.
Guests are asked to wear a splash of pink on the day (the hotel's signature color), and book early as there's only one seating and limited space. Bookings can be made online only at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Langham_afternoontea_Event.
There will be a 10% service charge for each tea set, dress code is elegant (with a mandatory touch of pink!), and you will be asked to leave your credit card details in case a member of your party doesn't show, and in that scenario you'll be charged the full price for an afternoon tea set of HKD188 per person.
