Like a New Year’s Resolution come late, I’ve decided to devote the next week and half in the run up to Father’s Day, to spending more time with my pops. We’ll call him W.
That is to say, more time that doesn’t include the default time (given the fact that I live at home) spent sitting on the couch with him in a food induced coma most nights of the week.
So we decided to be adventurous and think outside of the box, and instead of eating a nice Thai dinner at home (my mother is Thai) we decided to eat a nice Thai dinner out, at Simply Thai Kitchen (President Cinema Roof Floor, 517 Jaffe Rd., Causeway Bay, 2838-289).
For those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of meeting W, he really is the embodiment of loveliness. Wrapped up in a big package of oddball. With a big bow of too-much-honesty perched right on top.
