Book by October 31, for travel until December 13, and get a special rate of $1,400 on a round-trip flight to Taipei. OK, taking into account taxes and fees and surcharges and all of that business, it adds up to an even $2K. After checking out a couple of weekends in November, it seems the timing isn’t always ideal, since the only flights available leave earlier in the afternoon on both Friday and Sunday.
Maybe it’s time to put in for that half day… or lower our expectations (and costs) by flying China Airlines or Eva Air.
