"World's Most Famous Butcher," Dario Cecchini Comes to Hong Kong

The Florence-based Dario Cecchini (“world’s most famous butcher") is stopping by for a visit next week—first with a butchery demonstration at Polytechnic University on Monday, November 28th (2:30-3:30pm), then with a dinner showcasing his slaughter at Domani (Pacific Place, 88 Queensway, Admiralty, 2111-1197) on Wednesday, November 30th.

Dario is oh-so-much-more than a meat hacker; he’s been known to quote Dante Alighieri while chopping up his catch, and by all accounts, he’s quite a character on his own.

I’ll be going to that PolyU demo with our film editor Penny, who’s the biggest fan (she biked through the town of Panzano to try to find his shop—albeit unsuccessfully).
