Beat the chill with some Hida beef at Sessyu
Are the winter months leaving you tired? Need an iron boost? Fret not—Sessyu Kaiseki Teppenyaki will be serving up a Hida beef feast fit for a king until February 5.

With the focus on seasonal bounty, Sessyu will also be offering M9 wagyu from Australia, taraba crab from Russia and jet-fresh Boston lobster, along with the flavor of the moment: Hida beef. Compared to its oilier contemporary, the Kobe, Hida beef is more tender and nutritious, with less fat and a stronger beef flavour.
The Hida beef will be in an array of dishes, from spring rolls to beef sirloin. Most of the dishes will be cooked quickly on a hot iron plate by Swiss-trained chef Matsumara Sen.
For an exquisite dining experience, visit Sessyu Kaiseki at: 8/F, Cubus, 1 Hoi Ping Rd., Causeway Bay, 2576-0880. Set menu starts at $540.
