November is Wine & Dine Month in Hong Kong, and it kicks off with a big Hong Kong Tourism Board-organized festival from November 1 to 4. Sample wines, taste award-winning savories and desserts from around the world, and buy culinary supplies and kitchen accessories from 311 booths set up along the West Kowloon waterfront. The four-day festival attracted over 100,000 visitors last year—it’s time to embrace the wisdom of the crowd. As for the rest of the month, it’s chock-full of foodie-related events, including the Wan Chai Queen’s Road East Festival (November 3-4, 10-11), the Lan Kwai Fong Carnival (November 17-18), the Stanley
Plaza World of Food and Music (November 24-25) and the Hong Kong Festival of Restaurants (November 1-25). Festival of Restaurants is equivalent to Restaurant Week in other parts of the world; 50 eateries around the city will be offering up special, discounted menus at prices from $100 to $800 a pop.

Alternatively, check into Nordic specialist FINDS, whose new autumn menu includes dishes such as venison tenderloin and scrumptious duck meatballs.
