‘Tis the season for the fragrant white truffle, and our city is positively drowning in promotions for this rare and pricy Italian delicacy. Get your fix at a traditional Italian eatery, or go bold and have them with some rice and teppanyaki. The choice is yours, and you can start as early as breakfast.

Amber
Chef Richard Ekkebus has added an extra something to the French fine dine’s breakfast menu. Amber’s new white truffle breakfast dishes include shaved white truffles from Alba—the most highly prized region for the delicacy—served on eggs Benedict or a frittata. The Taiyouran-brand Japanese free-range eggs come from chickens fed on a deluxe diet of leaves and natural herbs. All white truffle breakfast dishes contain four grams of the good stuff shaved right at your table. The white truffle breakfast will be served throughout November and December.
