Intercontinental Hong Kong Presents its Cooking with the Culinary Stars Class Program
Intercontinental Hong Kong is continuing its popular Cooking with the Culinary Stars program this year, and introduces the 2013 all-new Baking Club classes.

The Cooking with the Culinary Stars classes allow participants to learn everything from classic cooking techniques and essentials to specialty and seasonal dishes from Intercontinental’s celebrated chefs. The chefs come from InterContinental Hong Kong’s diverse restaurants, including Michelin two-star restaurant Spoon by Alain Ducasse, Michelin one-star restaurants Yan Toh Heen and The Steakhouse Winebar and Grill, as well as Nobu.
The hotel’s famed chefs will showcase their diversity in international cuisine, which include French, Japanese, Cantonese and American, and will display both modern and traditional techniques. Participants will receive a special package with an official Certificate and recipes from the chef.
The Baking Club—a fresh addition this year—will allow participants to gain “hands-on” learning under the guidance of Spoon’s new pastry chef Jerome Husson. Learn techniques in the beautiful art of dessert and cake-making over the four-hour class, with a diverse range of topics including bread, chocolate, ice-cream and sorbet, cake decoration, pies and tarts as well as Party and Festive Desserts varying throughout the year.
Participants of the class will receive a special package with an official Certificate, a pastry equipment set and recipes from the chef. You will also be able to show off your beautiful creations, as they will be carefully packaged for you to bring home.
Inclusive of a light breakfast and lunch with beverages (which include wine or champagne, plus tea, coffee and juices), the classes take place on Saturdays from 10:30am-2:30pm throughout the year.
