24 Bars and Restaurants in 24 Hours
From daytime drinking to late-night revelries, we’ve chosen the best venues for drinking in a 24-hour bender. By Sean Hebert and Andrea Lo.

They say that Hong Kong is one of the world’s only true 24-hour cities, and this is most certainly true when it comes to drinking. Got a weekend coming up that you don’t mind losing to alcohol? Then try our 24-hour, 24-bar party itinerary. And be sure to pop a Panadol or two before you hit the hay, because it’s going to be one mother of a hangover.
NOON: START
Sky High
If you’re going to attempt a round-the-clock bender, you need to start by admitting that things might get a bit ugly before the day’s end. So why not distract yourself with a stellar view? The 100-plus story Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong should do the trick. Order up a Bloody Mary for brunch at Ozone (118/F, International Commerce Centre, 1 Austin Rd. West, West Kowloon, 2263-2270) while taking in the skyline views.
1pm: Down at the Pub
Migrate east to the famed Bulldog’s Bar and Grill (Shop G5 & UG15, Tsim Sha Tsui Centre, 66 Mody Rd., Tsim Sha Tsui East, 2311-6993) for some pints and pub grub. Dip into the fish & chips or really line your stomach with the all-day full English breakfast. Skip their Heineken and John Smith’s and head straight for the Guinness on tap—this is a pub we’re talking about, after all.
2pm: Desserts
Once you’ve been sufficiently stuffed with mains, track west to TST’s new Roundhouse Kitchen + Beer (36 Lock Rd., Tsim Sha Tsui, 2366-4880) for some dessert that fits the occasion. Their tasty menu includes beer cupcakes, a beer fruit jelly cup and a hazelnut coffee porter tiramisu; add a pint of Hoegaarden and you’ll really have a theme going.
