If you really miss carpooling so much, you should probably waterproof your car and buy a hose. The idea of carpooling is still fairly new to this town, since people aren’t normally that willing to take rides with strangers. There is only one website entirely dedicated to carpooling in Hong Kong—Carpool King (www.carpoolking.com). You can search for both drivers and passengers; however, members are limited and there are even fewer current listings. Most people are looking for a lift, though, rather than wanting to be behind the wheel. There’s also classifieds website Locanto (hongkong.locanto.hk), which has a section in which you can post free ads looking for passengers or drivers. Happy carpaddling.
