Two ideas I had for films starring Stephen Chow:
Trick Shot
Stephen Chow is a drunk and a former police officer who used to be part of the illustrious PTU: Pool Tactical Unit, responsible for solving all pool-related crimes. Stephen and his American partner Zach (played by me) were the best in the squad until one day, Stephen accidently killed Zach by trying the forbidden FOUR WINDS pool shot, missing the table and striking Zach (played by me) in the head with the 4 Ball. The PTU was shut down and Stephen took to drink.
With the PTU disbanded, pool-related crimes rise dramatically and an evil Australian pool gang has moved in, smuggling cocaine in pressurized pool balls.
Investigator CELINA JADE uncovers the gang’s plan—to win the Asia Pool Championship and gain unfettered access to import their “special” pool balls to Hong Kong. The only way to prevent this is to win the tournament and for that she needs Stephen’s help. She finds him in a bar and after showing off a few nifty trick shots, gets him on the case.
Stephen tells Celina he needs the “Stick of the Gods” (a mythical pool cue) to win, so the two travel to a Shaolin temple to retrieve it. They face the feared Shaolin Gaming Monks, besting them in darts, liar’s dice, and Sic Bo to win the cue. When the monks renege they deploy the secret “17th Ball” (a grenade).
Stephen enters the tournament and bests his opponents until the final showdown. There, he is forced to do the FOUR WINDS shot again—battling his painful memories of killing the amazing Zach (played by me). However, he completes the move successfully and wins! Furious, the big baddie throws a ball at Stephen’s head but it turns out it was one that was full of pressurized cocaine—the ball explodes on Stephen’s face. Everyone gets high and the gang is busted.
Players Paradise
“Players Paradise” is a gated community for hot shots who have made it: CEOs, retired rock stars, high-profile lawyers, and actor STEPHEN CHOW. Stephen is a global superstar so famous that he moved to Player’s Paradise 10 years ago and became a recluse.
