Matchbox Twenty Live in Hong Kong in November
The multi-platinum American rock band Matchbox Twenty has reunited after a long break, and will be touring in Asia for the very first time since 1995. Get a huge dose of 90s nostalgia as you experience all their classic hits live on November 4 at KITEC.

Having gone through a three-year break, Matchbox Twenty is back, bringing the world their latest album, “North.” Released late last year, “North” is the band’s first full-length album since 2005.
The new album features the roof-raising anthem “Put Your Hands Up” and “Like Sugar.” There’s also the high-energy, harmony-laden “She’s So Mean” which marks the band’s triumphant return with a position in the top 10 charts. Nineties indie band nostalgia has been riding high over the past year, with Train storming the charts with two major hits, and the Goo Goo Dolls' "Iris" enjoying a talent show-induced wave of popularity.
Having produced four international hit albums since their debut in 1996, Matchbox Twenty has gone on hiatus several times. Vocalist Rob Thomas has enjoyed a successful solo career, with multiple number one singles. The rest of the band, Paul Doucette, Kyle Cook and Brian Yale, also expanded their individual music careers during the break.
If you grew up drunkenly singing along to the chorus of "Push," you won't want to miss Matchbox 20's Hong Kong show this November. Come on Third Eye Blind—when are you going to treat us to a reunion?
