Cool New Bars in Hong Kong
It’s that time again when we round up all the newest, coolest places to drink—plus a few more that are on the way. Don’t say we never help you with anything. By Andrea Lo.

Catalunya
This Spanish bar and resto might be located in the quieter part of Wan Chai, but it’s well worth a visit. It’s not only Spanish-style drinks here though—some are made with Asian flavors (ginger is used alongside Remy Martin VSOP and sake with Chambord,
for example).

G/F, Guardian House, 32 Oi Kwan Rd., Wan Chai, 2866-7900.
Duddell’s
When Duddell’s first opened we thought it was a venue suffering from a slight identity crisis, but the gorgeous bar/restaurant/artsy exhibition space has become all the rage. Perched atop Shanghai Tang Mansion, Duddell’s comes complete with a massive garden terrace. There’s a creative menu here—think old school faves with a Hong Kong twist, like the Victoria Sling or the Special Administrative Sazerac House, flavored with Sichuan pepper.

3-4/F, Shanghai Tang Mansion, 1 Duddell St., Central, 2525-9191.
Eastside Tavern
NYC-style food and drink take center stage at Eastside Tavern. Alongside big portions of your burger and fries, try equally big drinks like a frozen strawberry mojito or a spicy Bloody Mary.
