A 23-year-old man robs the shop he part-times at in Tsim Sha Tsui. To disguise himself, he speaks in Putonghua and dons a mask, a wig and sunglasses. He breaks in at noon, holding a fake gun. A colleague recognizes him from behind and asks him to stop the prank. He doesn’t, so four workers tackle him. His wig and sunglasses fall off and the workers are shocked to find out he is indeed their colleague. He is arrested.

At 7am, a pack of monkeys gathers around a Wong Tai Sin hill road frequented by hikers. A baby monkey is trapped in a wire fence. A 42-year-old woman approaches to help, but the rest of the pack becomes protective. One bites the woman on her left thigh. She is sent to the hospital. When officials arrive in full protective gear, the pack is already gone—including the trapped baby monkey.

A 62-year-old woman visits her ancestors’ graves in Yuen Long. She sees that some of the wild grasses growing along the roads resemble Chinese medicines sold in the market. She picks a small batch to learn more. Several Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department officers appear and say it’s illegal to pluck wild grass, and that she will be will prosecuted. She becomes physically unwell from the shock.
