New Lamma Developments Inbound?

The former quarry area will soon house 5,000 residents in 1,900 new flats, double the number previously planned. Also on the way: a 260-room hotel, centers for watersports and outdoor recreation, a new ferry pier and a two-story commercial block. The Conservancy Association’s Peter Lee Siu-man believes this will turn the island into another Discovery Bay. The current population of South Lamma is 500 residents.
