Paddle to the island of Yim Tin Tsai, a tiny 300-year-old Hakka village.

3. Catch a Vintage Screening
The Hong Kong Film Archive is dedicated to
preserving local film heritage. The archive’s cinema regularly screens old movies—for free. At the moment they’re doing a gangster film special.

4. Hike to Island East
Earn your lunch by hiking the lovely Wilson Trail from Parkview all the way to Quarry Bay. The three-hour trek will take you past reservoirs and sweeping views, and drop you near the Island East Markets, which re-opens April 13.
