1. West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade
Go on a sunny day when there isn’t a festival happening and you’ll get to sit on grass that’s not soaked with beer for once.

2. Penfold Park
Located right in the middle of the Sha Tin Racecourse and a favorite of dog-walkers. Closed Mondays and race days.

Chillout spot just in front of Legco. Bring a blanket; they seem to have just watered the grass every single time we go.

There’s a wheelchair-friendly path and picnic area, and plenty of hidden picnic and BBQ spots.

5. Pui O Beach
Go just after the tide has receded, and you’ll get an awesome flat beach picnic spot.
