Time Out An examination invigilator miscalculates the finishing time of a city-wide English listening examination. Fifteen minutes before the end of the exam, she writes that there is half an hour remaining. Then, when trying to rectify the error, she writes that the exam will finish in 10 minutes. She discovers her error several minutes later and changes the time again. She blames students for not speaking up about the miscalculation.

Sardine Rooms Twenty-nine tourists from the mainland book four rooms in a Tsim Sha Tsui hostel and complain that they can’t all fit into them. The owner finds them three rooms for 21 people, but says the remainder will have to sleep on the floor. Later that night, they demand that the hostel return their money. During a seven-hour-long confrontation, the tourists ask the police if they can spend the night at the police station. The owner ultimately agrees to provide more rooms to them for free.

Jump Survivor A 20-year-old woman attempts suicide by jumping from the third floor of a building. She falls onto a first-floor canopy. Despite suffering from multiple injuries, she remains conscious. She dials 999 and is taken to the hospital, where she is in critical condition.
