1,600 Pandas To Visit Hong Kong this June
Brace yourselves for the new giant rubber duck: 1,600 papier-mâché pandas will be traveling all over the city during the month of June to promote conservation and to celebrate the launch of PMQ.

The 1,600 pandas were created by French artist Paulo Grangeon, based on the number of pandas left alive on Earth—and four of them have been specially customized for Hong Kong.
Expect to run into pandas in Victoria Park, the airport, the Hong Kong Clock Tower, the Giant Buddha, the Sha Tin Racecourse, Ocean Park and more as they tour all over the SAR this month.
Organized by PMQ, a heritage site revitalized as a creative hub with studio spaces as well as exhibition venues, and curated by creative studio All Rights Reserved, who also brought us the popular giant rubber duck, the exhibition aims to raise awareness of conservation efforts and sustainable development.
The paper pandas' final stop will be at PMQ (35, Aberdeen St., Central) on June 24, just in time to mark its official opening. Funds raised will go to WWF-Hong Kong.
