After nearly 14 years of being closed off to the public, the Former Police Married Quarters has finally reopened as PMQ, a creative hub housing studio-cum-retail spaces for young designers.

The stated mission is to give young talents a hand in developing their brands, by putting them face-to-face with potential clients and other designers. Its second aim, to provide accessible public space, is dovetailing neatly with the first. The Night Market is running on selected weekends through to July, bringing food, live music and local arts and crafts to the area.
