You've made it to the last level of "House of the Dead 4." You never miss an episode of "The Walking Dead." You keep a zombie survival kit under your bed just in case. If you've answered "yes" to all of the above, then you're ready for Run For Your Lives Hong Kong, the ultimate obstacle event where you either run from zombies...or you become one!
Run For Your Lives started in Maryland, US three years ago, and since then the infectiously thrilling obstacle race has spread throughout the United States, Europe, and even Asia. After hitting Singapore and Taipei, it's official: the virus is in Hong Kong...so get ready to run!
Survivors have three flags, or "lives," hanging from their belts that can be stolen by zombies as they pass through both manmade and natural obstacles, dodging the infestation along the way. Make it to the finish line with a life intact, and you'll be rewarded with a survivor medal, a reminder that if TV's "The Walking Dead" ever actually happened, you'd be the last to become a mindless braineater.
If running for your life isn't your cup of tea, perhaps you'd rather be on the delivery end of the bloodbath by opting to join the legions of the undead. Zombies will be professionally made-up to undead perfection, grabbing lives from survivors and of course, administering mind-numbing terror.
Meanwhile, the "safe zone" at the carnival grounds will have live entertainment, tunes, food and drinks, costume competitions, games, prizes and more... that is, until the Apocalypse Party, the ultimate living dead dance party finale. Not only is the race popular with both fitness enthusiasts and aspirants alike, even groups of friends, families, and corporate groups looking for a fun bonding activity can join in on the fun.
