Bang On

A packed-to-the-rafters vintage shop in SoHo, Bang Bang! 70s is home to lots of cool finds, such as an antique Hermès disposable camera, LV and Chanel bags from the “old days,” and even a vintage briefcase filled with documents from the 70s. Not only can you pick up some unique threads, but items also come with their own story, as well as a little background info on the original owners. Wait, that bag was “pre-loved” by who?!

The aptly named General Store showcases a wide range of American and European mid-century industrial antiques, as well as products with more modern flair. Those who like to mix and match vintage materials with modern sensibilities will enjoy the collection of unisex bags handmade from World War I French parachute silk by Japanese fashion label TK Garment Supply. And if you’re sprucing up your flat, General Store also offers full interior design services.
